Flavor of Creamy Coconut Cake

You may be surprised to find out that the flavor of coconut cake is not as bold and strong as you would think.  Coconut cake has a mild flavor, with most of the coconut flavor being in the frosting, as the frosting is coated with coconut flakes.  Coconut flakes tastes slightly nutty with a mild sweet flavor.  The coconut flakes go on the outside of the frosting on a coconut cake, the result is that the frosting can taste extra sweet when combined with the flavor of the coconuts…the cake itself, which is usually made with coconut milk and coconut cream will have almost no taste when compared with the strong coconut flavor of the frosting….however also keep in mind, the sweet flavor of the coconut overwhelms the comarively not-as-strong flavor of the coconut.  The overall result:  after a few bites of coconut cake, you’ll be mostly tasting a very sweet frosting and can easily forget that you’re even eating a coconut cake…your main clue will be the meaty, nutty flakes on the outside. If you don’t like the flavor of plain coconut milk straight from the coconut, do not be alarmed, chances are very good that you’ll still like coconut cake!!

Vanilla Ice Cream Flavor -Homemade and French Vanilla

Vanilla Ice Cream is one of the most popular flavors of ice cream, and some say that of all ice cream eaten, this flavor is eaten more than 50% of the time!  Vanilla ice cream has a very mild flavor that does not overwhelm other flavors, it is therefore a popular choice to be eaten in sundaes, ice cream sodas, cakes, and on its own!  Within vanilla ice cream, you’ll usually find two different flavors – Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream flavor, and French Vanilla Ice Cream flavor.  Homemade vanilla ice cream is the basic version, tasting mild, with a slight to-no after taste…it usually has a yellowish color.  French vanilla ice cream is a bit more complicated, and is custard-based, and is richer and creamier…it usually has a whiter color, sometimes with flecks of brown, and will have a stronger (though still mild) taste to many people…some may find it ever-so-slightly bitter.

Pear – shape, juice, and pear flavor

The pear is a popular fruit. The pear’s flavor has been described as being sweet if ripe, or slightly bittery if not ripe. Ideally, the pear will be soft when you bite into it – not hard and crunchy like the apple. It will also be somewhat watery. The pear flavor is not very strong, but mild, with the strongest flavor being the aftertaste. Pears do not have an exotic flavor, and would appeal to people that do not like intense flavors; many people find them easy on the stomach. Pears are at their best when eaten fresh, however you can find canned pears, pear jams, and sometimes even pear juice, although this is not as popular a juice as orange or apple and you might not even find it in the supermarket. The pear is a greenish  color, sometimes when really ripe taking on a brown tinge.

The pear is the edible fruit which grows on the pear tree. The pear shape is very distinctive and the shape “pear” is often used to describe something that is narrow on top and wide on bottom – body shapes can even be described as pear-shaped.

White chocolate, popcorn, mocha, cake, chips, peppermint

Today’s flavor is white chocolate.  White chocolate is a popular variation of the classic flavor chocolate.  White chocolate flavor has been described as tasting like chocolate but with a milky and smoother flavor. The ingredients for white chocolate include sugar, cocoa butter (the fat from cocoa beans), milk solids, lecithin, sugar, and vanilla.  One notable difference between chocolate and white chocolate is that white chocolate does not contain chocolate liquor or cocoa solids.  Because it does not have any cocoa solids, white chocolate (unlike regular chocolate) does not have any caffeine.  White chocolate should not be confused with milk chocolate. (Milk chocolate actually IS chocolate, and contains sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa liquor, milk, and vanilla.)  Milk chocolate appears as a brown color like chocolate, while white chocolate appears as white.White chocolate is incredibly popular, and many people that do not care for regular chocolate like white chocolate as the flavor is quite different.  Flavorings of white chocolate include white chocolate pepperment bark which is popular around Christmas.  White chocolate fudge is a popular dessert and is described as being creamy, rich, and very sweet – you can find recipes easy online.  White chocolate cheesecake is popular in the supermarkets – a very dense and decadent dessert.  You’ll never find white chocolate popcorn in a movie theater, however if you find a gourmet popcorn bag, you might find this flavor.  Other items which have been flavored successfully with white chocolate include white chocolate mocha (to drink), white chocolate cookies (you can add white chocolate chips to make them), white chocolate pretzels (very popular and easy to find), white chocolate syrup, white chocolate icing, white chocolate liquer, white chocolate m&ms (yes, they exist), and the list goes on and on.White chocolate – great flavor!!
