Twizzlers Candy Flavor

Halloween is coming up, so let’s talk about the flavors available to you in Twizzlers candy.  Twizzlers are a licorice candy made by Hershey’s.  They were originally made by a licorice company named National Licorice Company – created in 1902.  This company eventually merged with Hershey’s, putting Twizzlers out under their name.

Licorice is not everyone’s favorite candy.  It has a very distinctive flavor that only appeals to some people.  It is very chewy.  The black colored Twizzler is the only true licorice flavor, and many would describe it as very bitter tasting, as licorice is an anise-flavored candy.

With all that said, twizzlers flavors include 1.) strawberry 2.) cherry 3.) true black licorice, and 4.)chocolate flavor.

Candy Corn Flavors

One of the most popular flavors of halloween is candy corn!  Candy corn is a sweet sugary candy that’s made specifically around Halloween from honey, corn syrup, and sugar by Brach’s Confections.  Traditional candy corn is the shape of a cone and has three colors – the bottom part is yellow, the middle part is orange, and the top part is white. Indian candy corn is another popular common variety which is brown orange and white. Although some people claim the colors taste different, in fact, all the colors have the same flavor.

Candy Corn is soft and chewy and tastes very sweet. The flavor it so appealing, that according to the manufacturer, so much candy corn is eaten, that if you lined them up end to end it would circle the earth 4.5 times.

Retailers are starting to sell gourmet candy corn which comes in different flavors including: chocolate, cinammon, pumpkin spice, blackberry cobbler, cherry, green apple, and many many more flavors.
