Flavored coffee and tea stir sticks

There are several options you have when it comes to the method of how to sweeten your tea and coffee. There is the traditional sugar, stevia, brown sugar, honey, and sugar cubes to name a few. The traditional method of delivery for all of these sweeteners is to just add in a spoonful into you r cup and stir the liquid with a spoon.

Coffee and tea stir sticks are a great way that you can sweeten your beverage in an easy and convenient manner. The idea is simple… a dissolvable stick or “wand” that is flavored with a particular sweetener. As you stir the stick into your hot cup of your favorite drink the stick will automatically dissolve into your cup adding that extra bit of sweetness to your drink!

Some of the best flavored stir sticks are listed below:

Honey
Peppermint
Chocolate
Vanilla
Hazelnut
Raspberry
Caramel

FlavorIce Flavors of Summer!

Summer is coming! And with that, you’ll need to know what flavors of Fla-Vor-Ice you’ll want lined up inside your freezer! Most of the time when you buy the bags, you’ll get an assortment of flavors, but it’s often hard to tell what exactly they are…so here’s a list of what you might find inside your next box!

What is FlavorIce?  Flavorice is flavored liquid (frozen treat) that comes in a plastic tube. These “frozen pops” are a FAVORITE of kids, and is a great way to cool off in summer.  You stick the tubes in your freezer where they freeze.  When a hot day comes, you pull it out, cut off a corner of the plastic tube, and suck out the frozen liquid inside! It’s a refreshing and tasty way to cool off on a hot summer day and has been for 35 years!!

What flavors are available in Flavor Ice Tubes?

The main Original flavors (if you want to stick with the classic)…they are sometimes called the “Fruity” flavors (if you’re trying to find them in the store). They are:
1.  Lemon Lime (this will be the green tube, and is often a favorite!)
2. Orange (the Orange tube)
3. Berry Punch (the blue tube – everyone likes this one becuase it turns the tongue blue!)
4. Grape (the purple tube)
5. Tropical Punch (the pink tube)
6. Strawberry (the red tube – a kid favorite!)

Other varieties of Fa-For-Ice include:

Light Flavors – These are in the Sugar Free line, and include Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Berry Punch, and Grape.

Candy Shoppe Flavors – There are four varieties of “candy” that include bubble gum, banana taffy, cotton candy, and red licorice.

Tropical Flavors – There are 6 choices in this line including Summer Punch, Pineapple, Berry Punch, Banana, Tropical Punch, and Citrus Punch.

Jelly Belly Flavors – Part 1

Jelly Belly jelly beans are considered by many to be “the” go-to gourmet bean. They are well-known to be good tasting and have the best assortment of flavors. They even made a series of beans with names and flavors after the famous Harry Potter books – the series, called the “Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans”are, just like the book, meant to disgust, amaze, and yes, again, disgust!

If you can think of a flavor, chances are that Jelly Belly has made it! In fact, there are so many flavors to choose from, that I’ve broken down the list into 2 parts.  Here is part 1…look for part 2 on tomorrow’s post!

Chobani Flavors 2013

Each type of Chobani Greek Yogurt comes in a variety of flavors, so depending on what you want – a 6 pack, 32 ounce tub, or bite size packs, you’ll have a different range of choices to choose from.  The newest two flavors are the 6 ounce Pear and the 6 ounce Banana!

Here is a list of the different varieties that you will find along with the different flavors available in each:

Non-Fat Chobani Yogurt
While you won’t find any fat in this line, it is less flavorful than the Low-Fat version, and has a thinner consistency.

  1. Plain – always a fan favorite, if you’re not sure which flavor you want, this is the one to choose!
  2. Pear
  3. Blood Orange
  4. Apple Cinnamon
  5. Lemon
  6. Strawberry
  7. Honey
  8. Pomegranate
  9. Vanilla
  10. Raspberry
  11. Peach
  12. Blueberry
  13. Black Cherry

Low-Fat Chobani Yogurt
Here’s a list of the flavors of Low-Fat Chobani Yogurt. Most people tend to like the low-fat flavors better than the non-fat versions, so if you’re looking for something a little more flavorful, this is probably the choice for you!

  1. Plain
  2. Pineapple
  3. Passion Fruit
  4. Mango
  5. Banana
  6. Strawberry Banana

Bite flavors:
This is a smaller size (3.5 ounce) meant as a quick snack.

  1. Caramel with Pineapple Chunks
  2. Fig with Orange Zest
  3. Raspberry with Dark Chocolate Chips
  4. Coffee with Dark Chocolate Chips

Flip Flavors:
These Chobani flavors have “crunchy mix-ins” that you stir into the yogurt for a little extra punch!

32 Ounce:
This is a bigger more economical way to buy your yogurt and should save you some money on your purchase.  Unfortunately, there just aren’t a whole lot of flavors to choose from!

  1. Plain (Low Fat)
  2. Plain (Non Fat)
  3. Vanilla
  4. Strawberry

16 ounce:
Smaller than the 32 ounce, so not as economical, but what you sacrifice in size and gain in a variety of flavors to choose from!

  1. Plain (Non Fat)
  2. Plain (Low Fat)
  3. Blueberry
  4. Black Cherry
  5. Pineapple

  2. Banana Honey
  3. Very Berry
  4. Orange Vanilla

Tubes:
I myself am not a fan of tube yogurts, there’s something about sucking the yogurt out of plastic that I just don’t like, but many people do like to get their yogurt in tubes…why?  Because it’s convenient, requires no spoon so you can just “grab and go”, and is very appealing to kids!

  1. Chillin’ Cherry
  2. Jammin’ Strawberry
  3. Swirlin’ Strawberry Banana
  4. Rockin’ Blueberry

Finally, if you’re just not sure what is Chobani, and if you even want to try it,  here’s a quick summary:  Chobani is now one of the top makers of yogurt in North America, and specifically, it’s THE most popular brand of Greek Yogurt on the market.  You’ll find fruit on the bottom if you get a flavor, mix it in with the plain and you have a fantastic breakfast, snack, or dessert!
