Green Tea and Black Tea Flavors

One of the nice things about tea, is that it can come in almost any flavor you can imagine. Tea comes in all flavors including many herbs, fruits, or spices for example; there is Almond Tea, Amaretto Tea, Apricot Tea, Banana Tea, Blackberry Tea, Blueberry Tea, Caramel Tea, Chai Tea, Chocolate Tea, Lemon Tea, Mint Tea, Orange Tea, Honey Tea, Passion Fruit tea, French Vanilla Tea, and the list goes on and on….

But lets stop talking about the exotic tea flavors, and mention two of the most common tea flavors you’re likely to encounter, they include:

Green Tea – Green tea has it’s roots going back thousands of years, and is often accredited as the world’s first drink containing caffeine. The tea leaves come from a particular plant called the Camellia sinensis which come mostly from China.

Black Tea – Tea is the second most commonly drunk drink – second to water – and with all the flavors, you can certainly see why. Black tea is typically associated with Europeans who preferred the darker stronger taste of the tea leaves. In the early years of the tea distribution to Europe of the Black Tea they got came from India and a couple of other countries.

Milk

The flavor of milk.  One of the reasons that milk is so popular, is that the flavor of milk is very mild.  It appeals to almost everyone, and in fact because you start drinking it when you are so young, the flavor of milk is also very familiar.

Let’s start with skim milk.  Skim milk is best when it is drunk ice cold.  Many milk drinkers will tell you that skim milk tastes almost like water.  In fact, this is true. Skim milk is very light.  It does not stick to the glass in a white film, and it will not leave you with a milk mustache.  When ice cold, it is almost tasteless, almost like water.

However, 2% or Vitamin D milk is more like a “cream” as milk is supposed to be, the flavors of milk with a little fat is much more pronounced that Skim Milk.

Flavor of Sprite Lemon

Sprite is a soft drink known for its lemon flavor – it is similar to 7-UP, and one of it’s competitors in the lemon-flavored soft-drink market.  It is one of the few cola’s that are caffeine-free (no need to buy a separate caffeine-free version).  Sprite has a refreshing lemon flavor that makes it particularly popular in summer.

Most popular coffee flavors

What are the most popular coffee flavors? Specifically what kinds of flavorings can you add to coffee and which are the most populars ones added?

Instead of adding creams such as Coffee-Mate and International Delight to your morning cup of Joe try adding something different. There are several types of popular flavor additives your can put in your drink. Vanilla flavoring is probably the most common and easiest to find as well as chocolate.

I know chocolate coffee flavor sounds a little bit weird but it is pretty popular and not un heard of to add a little bit of chocolate syrup to the drink. In fact many people ad this instead of putting sugar in the coffee.

What other flavors can you add? Well, there is a growing trend to add spices to your coffee. This will add a little kick to your drink so you don’t want to add too much just sprinkle a little it of spice such as Cinnamon and stir. You can experiment with different spices too don’t limit yourself to one! If you are a big fan of a particular spice try a sprinkle and see if it works for you!

There are many coffee flavors to add and sometimes it is up to your imagination of what you might like and what you can handle in the morning drink. Of course the most popular way to have coffee is the classic way!
